Do you want to wake up to silence or birdsong? You can experience that at Hammarstrand's campsite every morning!

Our campsite is beautifully located in the middle of nature, next to the Indal River with a fantastic view, which offers you peace and quiet. We are not bothered by mosquitoes at the campsite. The campsite is located in Ragundadalen, midway between Östersund and Sundsvall, just over an hour away in both directions.

​

Hammarstrand's campsite has 30 sites with electricity. Very nice quiet camping sites by the river. There are also a number of cabins that you can rent for one night or for a longer period. We have cabins available for 2 to 4 people and we also rent out various houses for 2 to 9 people.

​

The camping area is well lit. The heated service house has just been renovated in a modern style. There you will find toilets, showers, disabled toilet and shower and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. There is also a washing machine and dryer, landfill for your chemical toilet and water tap for filling the caravan or mobile home water tank. The showers are free to use for guests, spacious and wonderfully warm.

In the reception there is a cafe where you can buy a coffee (coffee with some treats). We sell different types of pastries, different types of ice cream. If you want to eat something, we sell small dishes such as toast, various sandwiches and genuine Dutch croquettes and sausages. For dinner, we also serve food that you can eat in the café or take with you to your own place. You can also order breakfast or just warm freshly baked bread. We can also deliver a breakfast buffet for larger groups.

Here you can swim in the river Indalsälven, there is a beach a short distance away.

In Hammarstrand you will find everything you need, such as grocery stores, banks, ATMs, gas stations, pharmacies, health centers, dentists, system companies, pet stores, hardware stores and car repair shops,

 

Dogs are welcome at the campsite, as long as they are on a leash. Even dogs can enjoy a dip in the Indalsälven. We also have a separate fenced dog agility course. Which you can use for free with your dog.

 

There is also a cozy shop at Hammarstrand's campsite where you can find local products such as honey, juice, wood burning, pewter bracelets, t-shirts, books, mugs, moose, jewellery, felt products and moose horns and much more. Workshops are also held here, for example making pewter bracelets or wood burning. Everything made in the beautiful Ragunda Valley.

We are open all year round. You can book a campsite for short and long stays. For longer periods between May and September, five seasonal places to rent.
