Snowshoeing in the Ragunda Valley

Snowshoes and poles are available for rent from us.

Nature is beautiful in all seasons in the Ragunda Valley. That is why we like to enjoy all seasons ourselves. We go out in winter with snowshoes. We take drinks and food with us and head out. Sometimes we go from Hammarstrands camping or first we drive a little bit by car, for example at the top of the ski slope there are several routes (always walk next to the cross-country track, not on it) or we go to Högforsen or the old suspension bridge, which is my favourite.

A sporty winter experience to a historic site. Our guide guides a snowshoe hike through an old path with tall snowy trees and to a special destination. During this hike you will enjoy the winter landscape.

At the special final destination you will then enjoy a cozy stay in a log cabin with coffee from the fire and a wilderness lunch as an option. Our guide is happy to tell you about the river Indalsälven and the typical landscape with its nature and wildlife. Duration 4 hours.

Together with our guide you will go up the mountain and through the deep snow to the top of the mountain. On top of the mountain is a hut where you rest and eat a delicious soup and enjoy the amazing view. After the delicious soup and the battery is recharged then you return to the cars. Duration 3 hours.
