Ragunda Hembygdsförening
Ragunda Hembygdsgård manages the old farm in Pålgård. Different events are held every year. and in the summer it is the big midsummer celebration. During the summer months, events and demonstrations of how life used to be in the countryside take place.
In July, there is life and activity on the homestead. Then you can bake your own cake in the bakery and enjoy freshly baked flatbread. Films are shown on the team yard bottom, the children play in the story in the different child-friendly environments we have.
It is milked, washed. Mail is stamped and someone goes shopping. You can be guided in our museums. If you are interested in searching for someone in your family, or getting started with genealogy, there is help available these days. In addition, there are different themes every Thursday. It can be cooking cheese or mowing hay.
In addition to this, it is as usual open in the serving of homemade bread and you can challenge your friends or family in team yard bottom golf. Craftsmen show their craft and the musicians gild the beautiful yard with music.
What does in hembygdsliv mean? The sign is called hashtag or we can also call it a fence so it fits better on the homestead. If you take a picture during a homeland life day and post it on social media and tag it with hembygdsliv, the picture will be searchable and seen when you search online for just hembygdsliv. Then you will also be able to see other people's pictures from a local life day.
