Animals in the Ragunda valley
Animals in the Ragunda Valley
Fans of wildlife spotting are in the right place at Hammarstrands campsite. Bears, wolves, wolverines and lynxes live here. There is plenty of food so these animals can also be spotted in the wild. Although, of course, you need a bit of luck. Lynxes are very shy. Other well-known large animals with us are moose, reindeer, beavers, foxes, arctic foxes, martens, snow hares and lemmings. There are also many diverse fish such as perch, pike, salmon and trout, which is why many fishermen come here. Â Many bird species are also found here in the Ragunda Valley. In total, more than 300 different species of birds have been counted. In the north, the special alpine snow grouse, snow bunting, goldeneye are found. In our forest, there are several species of owls, buzzards, eagles, falcons, harriers, grouse, sparrow hawks and woodpeckers.Â

Come and enjoy the peace and quiet and go out into nature to encounter these animals.
